Terms of service

Last updated 10 August 2026

These terms cover your use of SigFinch, an email signature service operated by Strong Digital. Using the service means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you are allowed to.

The account

You are responsible for what happens under your login, for keeping your password to yourself, and for the people you invite into your workspace. Staff who receive a personal signature link do not get an account — they can only see and edit their own details, and only the fields you allow.

What you are paying for

A subscription lets you create, manage and host signatures for the number of people your plan allows. Trials run for the advertised period without a card. When a trial ends without a subscription, the workspace becomes read-only rather than being deleted.

Per-signature plans are billed on the number of live signatures. Archiving somebody removes them from the count from that moment. Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude any tax that may apply. We can change pricing, and if we do we will tell you before it affects a renewal.

Signatures that are already installed

This is worth stating plainly, because it surprises people. A signature is HTML that your staff paste into their own mail client. Once pasted, it is theirs and it sits on their machine or in their mail provider — we cannot reach into it, edit it, or remove it.

The one exception is images. Signatures reference logos, photos and campaign banners hosted by us at fixed addresses, which is what lets a banner change after installation. If your subscription ends, those addresses stop serving images, and signatures already installed will show the images as missing. The text will keep working.

Your content

Your logos, photos, staff details and any custom HTML remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and serve them for the purpose of running the service — resizing an image, or serving a logo to somebody's mail client, is that permission being used. You are confirming you have the right to upload what you upload, including photographs of your staff.

Acceptable use

Do not use SigFinch to send unsolicited bulk email, to impersonate anyone, to host material unrelated to email signatures, or to serve content that is unlawful. The banner endpoints exist to put a company's own campaign in its own staff's signatures; they are not an advertising network, and we will suspend an account using them as one.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and the image endpoints fast, because those are fetched every time somebody opens an email you have sent. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and maintenance occasionally happens. We will avoid doing it in Australian business hours where we can.

Ending it

You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. You can export your staff list at any point while you still have access. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or for non-payment after we have told you about it.

After an account closes we keep the data for a short period in case it was a mistake, then delete it. See the privacy policy for how long.

Liability

Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. Beyond those rights, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.
